I love salads in the Summer and I like to think of this one as an "all inclusive festival" where foods of all shapes, sizes, and color are always welcome.  All seeds, all fruits, all greens, all vegetables, all flowers.  Inspired by color.  Inspired by shape.  Inspired by whole foods.  Inspired by nutrient dense dishes.

I also love to pair it with my favorite healing Turmeric Sun Dressing.  This has long been my go to dressing for all my salads, drizzled over roasted veggies, and in my quinoa dishes.  I even use it as a dip with raw veggies.  I adore Turmeric for all its amazing anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and detoxifying properties, just as much as I love the vibrant color it gives to every dish. 

I've gone ahead and given my recipe a bit of an upgrade with the addition of Apple Cider Vinegar for extra detoxification + system alkalizing, Pine Pollen to support the hormones, metabolism, + libido, and He Shou Wu for additional antioxidants, blood nourishment + immune strengthening.


  • 6 T Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 T ACV
  • Juice + zest of 2 Lemons
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 2 T ground Turmeric
  • 2 T raw local Honey — if not vegan
  • 2 t Pine Pollen
  • 1 t He Shou Wu
  • pinch of Himalayan sea salt (to taste)
  • pinch of Black Pepper (to taste)


Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender.  Add more avocado if you desire a thicker consistency.  Drizzle over everything.
